Irena Kennedy

Irena Kennedy was born in Wellington and gained a BFA at the Dunedin School of Art, where she was awarded the David Con Hutton Memorial Scholarship and has recently completed her MFA at Monash University, Melbourne. Irena exhibits regularly across New Zealand – most recently including, Sculpture On Shore 2012, the Portage Ceramic Awards 2013, the Waitakari Sculpture Awards 2013 (winning 2nd prize) and in January 2013 undertook a successful residency at the Anteroom Gallery in Dunedin
